Cynthia O. Booth Cynthia Booth is a native of Cincinnati. She is a graduate of Denison University and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. Ms. Booth was formerly a Banker with Firstar Bank (currently US Bank). During her tenure with Firstar Bank she was Vice President, Retail Banking, Vice President, Human Resources, Vice President, Private Banking, Vice President, Residential Real Estate, Senior Vice President, Community Development, President, Firstar Foundation. She was one of the highest ranking female executives at Firstar and the only African American serving at an executive level. In August, 2000, Ms. Booth became President and CEO of COBCO Enterprises / McDonalds, a privately held company that owns six McDonald’s Franchises. Ms. Booth is the recipient of many community and civic awards, some of which include: the YWCA Career Women of Achievement, University of Cincinnati, School of Business Distinguished Service Award, Cystic Fibrosis, Woman of Valor Award, 2005 State of Ohio Minority Retailer of the Year, 2006 Association for Corporate Growth Deal Maker Award (an affiliate of the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce. She was the recipient of the 2006 Enquirer Woman of the Year Award and in 2007 she received the Lighthouse Youth Services Humanitarian Award. In February, 2007 she was honored by President George W. Bush at the White House as an outstanding business person. She served as Chair on the board of the YWCA, and is a member of the Denison University Board of Trustees, US Bank Advisory Board, Federal Reserve Bank Advisory Board, Cincinnati Museum Center Board, Women’s Capital Club, and the Cincinnati Chapter of the Links. Ms. Booth is married and has two sons. |
